Characteristics of a Successful Leader

As a leader, how should you respond when your subordinate questions you - Why would I want to be led by you cause some lead, others are led, is because leadership involves certain characteristics that make subordinates want to be led.

Leaders create opportunities to learn.

A leader creates opportunities to learn - from him and from herself. We believe that a leader knows everything under the sun. They are not omnipotent. There is so much that he / she can learn from their subordinates and the subordinates learn from the leader. Through the requirements and demands from the boss may even discover one's potential and ability to undertake the task. One can also explore numerous ways to complete certain tasks.

Leaders will focus their subordinates and the organization.

The leader is aware of the strategy and direction of the organization. He sees the big picture and are able to focus his subordinates in executing State success today, and not just planning for tomorrow.

Leaders are able to work with and influence people.

A leader is an influential, not dictator, and sway others with deep industry knowledge to the whole organization and the ability to communicate effectively across the entire organization and beyond.

Leaders drive change and dealing with externalities.

A good leader is in itself an excellent change agent and is very responsive to changes. The revisions in good stride and is able to assimilate perfectly into the work flow. In this case, supporters take such leaders for direction and work towards change.

In nutshell, is good looking human and charismatic in their own way, and therefore makes people want to be led by you. There is no change formula to be a good leader who will all have their own personal style. Most importantly, the leaders make it a habit sensing, frame, and adjust so they are prepared to call in whatever context that may occur at any time.
