We are seeking a talented Web Developer to join the engineering team at ShopAtHome.com. This position will work with several top notch engineers to enhance the most popular shopping toolbar on the web. With over 3.5 million active toolbars, ShopAtHome.com helps our customers find the best deals offered on the web.

Responsibilities:

·        Collaborate with the engineering and product teams

·        Create and implement enhancements to the ShopAtHome.com Toolbar software

·        Develop cross-browser/cross-platform JavaScript code

·        Insert user messaging into the Document Object Model (DOM)

·        Web Service communication via JavaScript/jQuery 

Qualifications:

·        4+ years of JavaScript and jQuery experience

·        Experience developing ASP.NET/C# on various browsers (IE, FF, Chrome)

·        Strong XML skills

·        Strong HTML, CSS, AJAX experience

·        Experience working with Web Services

·        Cross-browser and platform independent knowledge

·        Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented

·        Experience with full life-cycle software development 

Additional experience that would be a plus:

·        Ideally, experience developing Firefox, Chrome, and/or Safari browser extensions

·        Regular Expressions

·        CSS3 & HTML5

·        SQL (writing simple queries to help with troubleshooting)
