Muslim marriage is characterized by offering the dowry of a Muslim husband to his wife. The main objective is to ensure the economic situation of the Muslim women in case you do events. The dowry or Mahr can be paid before or after marriage and with non-payment of dowry the Muslim marriage will be invalid. The Muslim marriages insist that the husband supports his wife financially and it is therefore an obligation for a husband to support and protect his wife. The Muslim marriage rules also insist that the man should ensure that both his wife and children have access to Islamic religious materials.
A major difference between Islam and other religions is the practice of polygamy, are Muslim men allowed to marry up to four wives as long as he can support and protect them. Muslim women are not allowed to marry more than one man. The religion of Islam does not allow homosexuality. It allows the marriage of a Muslim man to a Jewish or Christian woman. The moral contract between husband and wife in Islam is bound by certain rules and regulations. Islam clearly defines the role of a man in a family and that a wife's duty. It is wholesome family life, which would form the basis for healthy off springs. This will further lead to the growth of a strong Islamic community. The ultimate goal is to stimulate the growth of religion with warm adherents of Islam and Muslim marriage is a just a formatted institution.
