Bangalore thrash Rajasthan by 10 wkts

Royal Challengers Bangalore thrashed Rajasthan Royals by 10 wickets to complete a comprehensive win here on Thursday. Chasing 93 for victory, RCB openers- Jacques and Manish Pandey overcame the Rajasthan Royals’ score in the 12th over of the match. Earlier in the match, Praveen Kumar claimed the first hat-trick of IPL-III as Royal Challengers Bangalore bowled Rajasthan Royals out for 92. Rajasthan Royals’ woeful form with the bat continued as they lost top for batsmen including their main man Yousuf Pathan. Despite losing three wickets, Pathan started to play attacking cricket, hitting two over boundaries in the process. But a beautiful through from Virat Kohli brough his downfall and he was out for 26. In the absence of Graeme Smith, the depleted Rajasthan side lost their three wickets very early. Naman Ojha (16), Michael Lumb (10) and Abhishek Jhunjhunwala (5)- all fell cheaply. Bangalore Royal Challengers have won the toss and elected to field first against Rajasthan Royals in an important IPL league m atch here on Thursday.
