How to keep your guest list under control

Your wedding is soon approaching and you're wondering who to invite, who to invite and who you can invite.

You have found your wedding dress, your wedding flowers, your bridesmaid dresses and you wonder who should be invited to the ceremony.

The food & beverage bill normally accounts for most of your budget, but if you want to cut your costs, the most effective way would be to cut down on your guest list.

But how to decide who to invite and not invite. It is not as hard as it looks if you follow these simple steps:

1. Decide on your budget for food and drink bill and work out the number of people you have to ask to meet that budget.

2. Agree with your girlfriend on the number of guests in your hand and on his part.

3. Draw your list and then assign a specific number of individuals for each set of parents (this way you let them make the hard decisions about which aunt to invite or not invite uncle.

4. You may decide not to invite all children and to inform your guests about your "no children" policy.

5. You may decide to invite single people on their own, especially if they are not in a serious relationship.

6. Think to invite relatives you have a close relationship with the place than all that relates to you.

7. You can cross out, people will not be offended if they are not invited to the wedding.

8. Invite only people who are important to you and your parents rather than everyone you know.
