Answering Your Journaling Objections

All experiences objections while keeping their personal journals. Rebuttal journal both exciting and frustrating. You may not know when an object will appear. Objections will appear as you journal, because you have decided to carefully examine your life or work. We have mentioned some common objections. Do any of these comments sound familiar?

I can not write: It is one of the most common objections we hear. Does that mean you can not write as you have learned in school? Well, neither can we. Write in your journal requires you to carefully question and ultimately leads only to the rules that serve your purpose. It does not mean that you will not experience a certain ambivalence, while choosing your rules. This means that you will learn to write more from your heart, which is the ultimate goal of keeping a journal.

I'm writing is not good enough: The basis for this objection is perfectionism. Have you ever heard you say: "My food is not good enough." Or my hair does not look good enough. "There are many more examples like these. Remember, the Filing is an exploration not only of ideas but for the act of writing. As you write a diary each record, you're practicing how to write and what to write. The only expectation that you must meet is that you show up for the journal and fill as much of each page, as you can.

I'M NOT CREATIVE enough, we believe that everyone is creative. Creative skills are different from person to person. When you write a journal entry, you create something new. Write a journal entry is creative, because you share something new with yourself, with God or others.

I do not know what to say: This is not true. Everyone has an opinion. All have some issues they can discuss with other people. What really can stop you from speaking out, is to worry about what others will think of you, to worry about sounds silly, and caring about others to ignore you. Unfortunately, some people can be unkind to you, social situations, sometimes unpredictable. But in your journal, you can write as many opinions as you want. As you become more confident in writing your journal entries, you will begin to explore many other topics and ideas.

Permission: It is very important that you say yes to yourself when you begin to journal. Some people have experienced resistance from family, friends or themselves on what, when or whether to journal.

You have learned about some of the most common objections. You also learned that these objections can prevent you log periodically.

Select an objection that resonates with you. Keep the object in mind as you journal for the next week or so. See if this objection or other seems to interrupt your journal. Be sure to write a few lines about your experience. If you do not sense any objection when you start to the magazine. So it is wonderful, too. If you do, that some of the exercises again and see what happens.

Regardless of what happens when you journal, keep on record. It is the best solution for your own personal objections to write in your journal and a great way to explore them.
