That’s what Shahid Kapoor got on Wednesday night when director Siddharth Malhotra hosted a surprise bash at a Bandra nightspot to bring in Shahid’s birthday. And it wasn’t just his (extended) family that was present, his buddies, co-stars and directors were all there to wish him all the success for the year ahead. The birthday boy was visibly pleased, and couldn’t stop smiling as he posed with his father Pankaj Kapur, stepmom Supriya Pathak and step-siblings Rohan and Sana. His mother Neelima Azim came in later. As did his younger step-brother Ishaan, who he’s extremely fond of. His co-stars Genelia D’Souza and Amrita Rao (both surprisingly dressed in similar attire — a formal white top and black skirt) made it for the surprise bash as did directors Imtiaz Ali and Ken Ghosh, both who he has worked with. Shahid, Amrita and Vishal Malhotra were seen having a blast together, laughing about something that the rest obviously didn’t know about! Mohammed and Lucky Morani, Neha Uberoi, Parmeet Sethi and Archana Pur an Singh and Pritam were also spotted entering the venue. There were some non-Bollywood guests as well like Siddharth Mallya and Atul Kasbekar.
