Club Mahindra Resorts

A new beginning:

In September 1996, was one of the leading industrial houses in India, Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd, which has been a stronghold in the infrastructure business, decided to focus on resorts. The decision was based on the fact that the group as a timeshare as a catalyst for growth in the family. And so was born Mahindra Holidays and Resorts India Ltd.

A decade later, Club Mahindra, the flagship brand of Mahindra Holidays and Resorts India Ltd. India's dominant rather successful holiday company organized vacation ownership market and left an indelible mark on the world hospitality market. During these ten years strived Club Mahindra every day to provide unique holiday experiences to its members and their families. By bringing families together and closer to the holidays, Club Mahindra continues to achieve its mission of "enriching and enlivening people's lives by making family holidays a part of their lifestyle."

Commenting on its 10th anniversary celebrations, said Mr. Arun Nanda, Chairman, Mahindra Holidays and Resorts India Ltd: "In the last 10 years we have been going on a difficult journey, but today we can proudly say that we have brought credibility to this class through our vision, commitment and customer focus. Looking ahead:

In its 11th years, the Club Mahindra is celebrating its success by announcing the location of future resorts. Four new resorts will be added soon at the Club Mahindra resort bouquet. Kumbalgrah in Rajasthan, Lonavala in Maharashtra, Kollam in Kerala and Corbett in Uttaranchal. Once these are operational, Club Mahindra will offer its 19 member resorts.

Club Mahindra's property on Kumbalgarh would include 53 well appointed rooms with a Rajasthani theme from the Mewar region. The Lonavala resort will comprise 125 fully furnished rooms with a village setting theme in its decor and architecture. The resort in Kerala will be set against the stunning backwaters and rich foliage of the region and will be designed to reflect the taste and character in Kerala. At Corbett, a 50-room resort is surrounded by the sights and sounds of wild animals and plants will bring a return to nature. All resorts will boast of facilities like a swimming pool, Ayurvedic Spa, conference rooms, indoor and outdoor games, restaurants and a bar.

Crown:

Several resorts under the Club Mahindra network are accredited with globally established standards in hospitality ~ PCMM 3 (People Capability Maturity Model), BHC (Branch Hygiene Code) and ISO (International Standards Organization) 9001 and RCI (Resorts Condominium International). Resorts in Munnar, Coorg, Goa and Binsar has received the prestigious RCI Gold Crown certification since the beginning. This year, Ooty is the proud recipient of the RCI Silver Crown. These awards are based solely on members' rating of their holiday experiences at Club Mahindra resorts, across parameters such as resort quality, service and overall holiday experience. Caring Club:

Apart from being a welcoming host, Club Mahindra takes its commitment to corporate social responsibility very seriously. Our resorts are actively engaged in service and development efforts in their communities in the areas of education for the disadvantaged.

Club Mahindra is also an active participant in the Mahindra Group's "Nanhi Kali" initiative for the development of underprivileged girls.

Club Mahindra has been behind the Bombay Natural History Society's efforts to save endangered species in India, by promoting their "Adopt a Bird" program among its members.

Campaigns:

Recently introduced Club Mahindra 'Fundays' for businesses, a unique new holiday product that offers a point system based on membership benefits for employees, giving them access to 15 Club Mahindra resorts in India and abroad. It is specifically designed to be anti-inflationary and is extremely flexible and scalable. Companies that become members can access 15 luxurious resorts of Club Mahindra at destinations such as Goa, Manali, Coorg and Bangkok and 3,700 RCI resorts worldwide. Mr. Nanda said, "Club Mahindra will partner companies by allowing them to offer different holiday plans to their employees. The flexibility built into the product will allow companies to offer it at all levels of management. With challenges such as high wear rate and stress Firms benefit through improved productivity and retention. "Fundays" will be launched in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai and other cities shortly.

Ashtamudi:

Located in Kollam district in Kerala, Ashtamudi is the gateway to the backwaters and is famous for its panoramic for its magnificent views. Coconut groves and palm trees along the banks add more charm to this place.

Facilities at Club Mahindra Resort:

The resort offers a total of twenty-five rooms, spread across five chalets. This includes two suites, called "Queen's Palace". The architecture reflects the different style of design issued by the Travancore Raj. All rooms are air conditioned, with plush furnishing and attached western toilets. Amenities include a mini fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, a wall mounted LCD television and a DVD player. Each room rewards the eye with picturesque views over the garden and Ashtamudi lake.

Auli:

Auli, a serene hill station, breed on the magnificent Himalayan Ranges in Garwal area Uttarkhand, From an altitude of almost 3000 meters from the sea, with a vertical drop of 529 meters, the snowy slopes of Auli can bring the best snow skiing. The ropeways from Joshimath to Auli is one of the longest in India, covering a distance of 4.15 kilometers.

Club Mahindra has acquired 7 one bedroom and 3 studio apartments, exclusively for its members. The rooms are spacious and elegantly furnished and carpeted, equipped with heating, plush interiors, cable TV, intercom and adequate storage space. Bathrooms are also spacious and boasts the most modern decor. It may take some time for Geyer storage heaters immediately after use. All this topped off with a great view through large windows.

Bangkok:
