Test:
When you come in contact with one of your clients or colleagues, how can "customize" the experience?
1. SHARE A Laugh:
Laughing releases even more endorphins than smiling. It also releases encephalin which are natural pain suppressors.
2. Pay someone a compliment:
Praise stimulates the brain. Look for the good in others and learn to appreciate the little things.
3. Have a positive attitude:
A patient with a focus on medical study showed that optimists are able to cope more effectively with stress. They tend to look on the bright side of things, and take further steps to circumvent or reduce barriers.
4. Send Thank NOTES:
'Management Guru', Tom Peters writes, "send them by truck loads." A goodwill message reinforces the importance of a relationship and validates an interest in the product, service and cooperation. It is common courtesy, and you will stand out.
5. FOWARD an article on a topic of interest:
Have you ever talked about movies, travel, or sports with a colleague or a customer? If yes, cut out a review of a movie they enjoyed, send a hot tip on a restaurant in a town which they often travel or go on an inspiring story --- A funny remark, a newspaper clipping or an article on a recent business trends, can send a message that you have listened carefully.
Results:
You affect others deeply and people want more. WOW!
