Beat Global Crisis for Malaysia Best Able:

An international business survey ranked Malaysia among the top 10 countries in the world to be able to survive the global financial crisis the best, while India was placed third. The Servcorp International interviewed 7,500 businessmen worldwide to gauge the mood, the impact of the economic recession and to their knowledge the countries that would best survive the financial crunch. Malaysia, along Sweden and Vietnam, was listed equally at the 10th spot as countries perceived to be be able to survive the economic crisis the best. Australia topped the survey, with China second, while India and Singapore were tied up at the third spot. Hong Kong and Canada were ranked fifth and sixth respectively. But ironically, developed countries like England, Germany, Netherlands, Taiwan and the US were ranked lower in the poll. The Servcorp International Business Confidence Survey was conducted worldwide in April, over a two-week period, involving 24 nations.
