Provincetown event to help homeless children in Brazil: Fourth-graders in Ms. Yeaw's class at Veterans Memorial Elementary School will host a yard sale from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Tuesday in the school's multipurpose room, 2 Mayflower Lane, Provincetown, to benefit homeless children in Brazil. Students are bringing in gently used items to sell and are also accepting donations, which may be dropped off at the school. Money raised will be sent to Task Brazil. Disability rights workshop scheduled in Harwich: An informational workshop to discuss the Individuals with Disabilities Act (IDEA) and more will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the activity room at Harwich Elementary School, 263 South St. Harwich Public Schools offer a range of special education services for children ages 3 through 21. Yard sale and car wash to aid Barnstable wrestlers: Barnstable wrestling booster club will host a car wash/yard sale 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Barnstable Middle School, Route 28, Hyannis. To donate items for yard sale, contact Hollie Emanuelson-Duffy at Hollie90@aol.com or 508-685-9433. Proceeds will benefit Barnstable youth program and high school wrestlers.
